In this episode we explore the topic of gratitude which, according to the yogic teachings, really is a way to open our hearts (or capacity to feel), as well as way to steer our thought patterns in a more positive direction.
According to positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Research done on people practicing gratitude shows that these people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.
